My Taglit Trip

It was the most beautiful time of my life. This country turned out to be my home and then I was forced to go back. I felt so welcomed by Israel. I was home for the first time and for the first time I felt truly happy. I want to go back, no matter how difficult the adjustment can be. I miss it now every day. I met wonderful people who had an unspoken connection with me, no matter how different our backgrounds really are. It felt like home, it felt like the people around me understood me without too many words. I may be exaggerating, but this is how it was for me and this is what matters. When I was walking around the Ben Yehuda street district in Tel Aviv, although I was shoved and pushed and heard shouts all around me, I felt at home. I felt loved. I want to go back. Now is the start of my exodus whether permanent or temporary. My plans: SACH, WUJS, etc

Love

Yours always
